Jurisprudence DepartmentStarting 2000, the Chair of the Department is G.B. Shishko, Ph.D. in Law, professor, member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Belarus; the Board of Experts Secretary for the Dissertation Board of the National Academy of Sciences. The scientific- pedagogical experience of G.B. Shishko is more than 20 years. He has written and published more than 200 scientific articles on the matters of Labour and Administrative Law, more than ten monographs. The Department of Law is one of the oldest at the University, it was established in 1953. First Chair of the Department was D.F. Eremeev, Ph.D. in Law, professor. Nowadays, the Department employs 25 faculty members; among them is one holder of a post-doctoral degree and a full professor, 5 associate professors (Ph.D. in Law); 7 senior lecturers and 12 assistants. The Department provides courses of Law for the School of Law and also for the other schools of the University. The Department gives courses on the following subjects: - Law
Basics; Graduate students can apply for post-graduate study in specialities of Labour Law and Social Law. The main direction of research is in the field of Labour Law and Social Security Law. The Department faculty have recently published the following manuals and science papers: - Labour
