State Law Disciplines DepartmentThe Chair of the Department is A.G. Tikovenko, D. D. in Law, professor, correspondent member of the Constitutional Court of Republic of Belarus, judge of higher qualification. A.G. Tikovenko is the author of more than 50 published scientific articles, among them are monographs - Boss
and Subordinate: Legal Aspects of Their Office Interrelation (Minsk,
1984); A.G. Tikovenko is the member of several Dissertation Thesis Defence Boards. He is also the member of several developing and debating draft-laws working groups. His specialisation is state and political power theory, constitutional and administrative law. The Department was established on September 1, 2000. Nowadays the Department employs 16 faculty members, among them is one holder of a post-doctoral degree and a full professor title, 3 associate professors (Ph.D. in Law), 11 senior lecturers and 1 assistant teacher. The faculty give courses in the following 14 subjects which form the Department's profile:
The main direction of the Department's scientific research is the Republic of Belarus law and the Russian Federation law comparative analysis in the sphere of local administration and self-administration. The most significant scientific works of the Department's staff are: - A.G.
